When I went in for my annual physical back in February / March, I weighed in at 179 lbs. Now I’m not saying that’s bad for a guy who’s 5’9″… but I could be in better shape. This is the most I have weighed, ever. I knew I had to do something and take action. I could not continue on this path of eating and drinking unhealthy constantly (as I drink a glass of wine while I’m typing these.. hehe :-) )

Before I went on and tell you what products I used to lose my weight, I must tell you that I was NOT paid to write my testimony. And you’ll see why later.

I heard about Healthy Trim on my local radio station. One of the morning hosts was easily 200 lbs overweight. He started taking Healthy Trim and the pounds started shedding for him. Grand it he was working out and eating healthier as well (this usually does the trick).

I got serious about losing weight so I too ordered Healthy Trim. I ordered a 3 months supply with overnight shipping, and it wasn’t cheap. This ended up setting me back $160 or so. However, when you’re getting in shape and eating better, you can’t put a price on that. I started taking Healthy Trim back in March / April of 2011 and as of yesterday at the gym I officially weighed in at 159 lbs! That’s 20 lbs less than when I weighed in at the doctor back in the winter! I was so ecstatic! I couldn’t believe I actually loss the weight. I have tried before and I didn’t think I’d actually do it. I thought this was going to be another flop. Then people I don’t see on a daily basis started telling me I was looking great and skinny! Some people said I was looking to skinny, but I don’t think so. I want to be around 145 lbs as my final goal.

Now here’s how I did it:

I took Healthy Trim pills every morning. 2 in the morning with lots of water and I waited at least 2 hours before eating breakfast. This wasn’t that big of an issue, because by the time I got to work, 2 hours have already passed so I would then make my oatmeal.

  • Cut my portions in half. now I know this seems drastic, and at first it was really hard. But my body got use to the adjustment. Are you wondering what I’m talking about? Basically, in the morning when I make my oatmeal I would usually make 2 packets. Instead, I would just use 1 packet. Then in place of the 2nd packet I would eat a banana or an apple, or both. Same thing when it comes to lunch time. Instead of making a full peanut butter and jelly sandwich , I would bring just 1 piece of bread. Again, I would bring apple, banana or grapes to fill me up since I’m bringing only half of a sandwich.
  • Whenever there’s an option at the grocery store to buy a product with 1/2 the calories, 1/3 the sugar, etc. I always chose that option. This includes bread, peanut butter, milk, pudding, etc.
  • Stop drinking booze! OK, I didn’t do this completely. However, I cut back and stopped drinking at home when I was just sitting around doing nothing. I only drank if something was going on. When I did drink, I drank Skyy vodka with Sprite Zero, and then fill up most of the cup with water. (I know, water.. right?) but water has zero calories and drastic times called for drastic needs.
  • And last but not least, the GYM! I started working out at least 4-5 times a week instead of 2-3 times a week and I always stay at the gym for a minimum of 30 minutes since I only do cardio.

 

Now I know that Healthy Trim may not play a part in losing the weight. It probably is all my habits I’ve changed. However, if buying Healthy Trim put this mental block in my brain that I have to lose weight then I’m OK with it. I probably wouldn’t have started taking my weight loss serious until I started spending precious money and taking the pills. With that being said, I just ordered another 3 bottles along with their anti-toxin bottle. I want to stay on track and if I need to take pills everyday to keep my mental mentality saying “I’m spending money on my weight loss, I need to go to the gym today” then so be it.

On another side note, this morning when I went to the gym I was able to run for 45 MINUTES straight on the treadmill without having to stop or take a breather. I was totally fine afterwards too. I have not been able to do that since high school!

I feel so great right now! If you put your mind to it you really can lose the weight. Now I know I wasn’t super overweight to begin with. But I wanted to get in better shape and lose weight and I was able to do it. Follow some of my tips above and you too can shed the pounds!
