The Droid Bionic was delayed, originally set to be released in May or June of 2011, Motorola has confirmed the Droid Bionic is still in fact coming this summer. Looks like the phone has been upgraded to a 4.5″ screen and will come already loaded with Gingerbread! Also, this phone will pack a dual-core processor swapping out Tegra 2 in favor of a PowerVR GPU.

I just switched to the HTC Thunderbolt back in March, but I’m already set to upgrade my Android device as soon as the Droid Bionic is released. Good thing I have 4 lines on my Verizon account, because 1 of them was eligible for an upgrade on June 3, 2011!
