However, I’m afraid to say I’ll be passing on the new Nexus 7. For my smart phone, I’ve been using the Huawei Ascend Mate. If you’re not familiar with this phone, it was the world’s largest smartphone for about a minute. It was a 6.1″ smartphone that was waterproof. Samsung then had to outdo Huawei and release the Samsung Galaxy Mega at 6.3″. Now Sony is coming out with the Sony Xperia Z Ultra at 6.4″. Personally, I’m a huge fan of the “phablet” scene! Therefore, buying a tablet at 7″ just does not seem reasonable to me.
I’ll be waiting for the new Nexus 10, or as some are reporting, it’ll be a Nexus 11! Personally, since I”ll be using the tablet 98% at home, I’d really like to see an 11″ tablet. I’d buy the Nexus 11 from Google. Plus, it’ll probably come in AT LEAST $50 cheaper than a stupid iPad. I mean come on, who even wants iPads anymore? The most recent report shows that iPad sales declined 17%. Apple sucks!
So that’s why I’m passing up the Nexus 7, I’m waiting for the Nexus 10 (or Nexus 11.)
